Wyatt Blaylock

What happens when a 4H or FFA kid doesn’t have the Grand Champion at the Sale of Champions?  Thanks to the Sponsors, kids such as Wyatt Blaylock still leave with some collage funds. Wyatt is a 13 year old East Central FFA member in San Antonio, who lost his father, Anthony, to brain cancer April 16th, 2012. A devastation of this magnitude could wreck any family, but not Wyatt’s.  His family roots run deeper than bloodline including his “Stock Show Family” pictured left to right, his brother, Weston,  Lorie Kempen, FFA Advisor, Wyatt Blaylock, and his mom, Tara Taylor.  Backing them up are the breeders Ricky Neal and Brian Martin, Caleb Martin, Kylie Patterson and the sponsor, Del Frisco’s, all  helping to reinforcing a basic concept of setting goals, working hard and competing still pays off in this country. That’s what makes the Sale of Champions so special; it’s not just the money.  Wyatt’s 1 of 12-10th Place Steers earned $20,895, as Wyatt’s dream of being an Aggie gets a little closer. The Sale of Champion Sponsors aren’t just buying Grand Champions; they are supporting the Grand Champion Kids of Texas, like Wyatt!

After thousands of miles traveled and countless appointments with pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists, she finally received a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome.

From this highly personal journey, Sonia developed a vision for a clinic where a child could be evaluated, diagnosed and treated by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a single location. This is how the concept was born to create PediaPlex.

Dan and Jenni Day met on a blind date 13 years ago, they had a mutual friend that just knew they'd be perfect for eachother! Both consider themselves the lucky one!

Jenni is originally from Dallas and Dan is from Arlington. They moved out to Parker County 10 years ago to live their dream life away from the busy city. Hence, Day Dreams Ranch was born.

Dan's main business is a 41 year old distribution company, as well as several other businesses varying from import/export to real estate. He enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling and Harley riding as well as utilizing his culinary skills at the Ranch with his personally-designed grill and outdoor pizza oven.

Jenni is active in animal rescue, mainly dogs and horses. She is on the board of directors of Parker County Pets Alive, a non-profit animal rescue and a member of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society. She also has shown her American Paint horses and Quarter Horses. Riding, traveling and entertaining are her favorite activities.

Dan and Jenni have personally rescued many horses and dogs themselves, some becoming lifelong family members and some finding their forever home elsewhere.

Their ranch is a busy place, entertaining family and friends in the Pavilion or providing a safe haven for that abused or neglected animal to call home.
