The Wiseman Family
Karen
and Richard Wiseman are both proud graduates of TCU - Karen having received her
bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance, while Richard earned a BBA before
attending law school at the University of Texas. Karen is a Certified Treasury
Professional and Vice President of Cash Operations for First American Payment
Systems, and her great, great, great grandmother, Mary Overton, was among the
first 100 settlers to Fort Worth. Richard has worked his entire legal career at
Brown, Dean, Wiseman, Proctor, Hart & Howell, which is celebrating its 90th
birthday in Fort Worth. After earning a scholarship as a walk on to the
freshman football team, Richard has given back to TCU by serving as Chair of
the Fort Worth Alumni Association, President of the TCU Lettermen’s
Association, Chair of the Clark Society, and a Board Member of the National
Alumni Association. Both attend Christ Chapel Bible Church, where Karen serves
on the Board of Common Ground, a non-profit organization committed to providing
personal, professional and spiritual resources for the working women of Fort
Worth.
