The Brown Family

Steve and Denise Brown have lived at their Coppell home for 9 years.

Denise graduated from Baylor with a BS in Education. She taught high school before becoming a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. She has continued to work at Delta for 23 years and currently works at the Delta Community Credit Union.

Steve founded Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano in Grapevine in 1985 and Guero’s Mexican Grill in Coppell in 1997. He will open a new concept restaurant, Brewsters Burgers and Beer, in the West 7th area of Fort Worth by early 2014.

Esparza’s is in the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame and received the honor of Small Business of the Year at the Governor’s Small Business Conference and Luncheon.

Steve is a Grapevine Chamber of Commerce board member and serves on the board of the Texas Association of Business. Steve and Denise donate to local police and firefighter organizations, sponsor golf tournaments, and support high school athletic teams. They provide food for local school district and community events. They also host the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser. Supporting our military heroes is particularly important to them.

Steve enjoys cars and sports, but his real passion is for his restaurants. He enjoys interacting with his customers. With the opening of Brewsters, he looks forward to getting more involved in the Fort Worth community.
