Wyatt Blaylock
What happens when a 4H or FFA kid
doesn’t have the Grand Champion at the Sale of Champions? Thanks to the
Sponsors, kids such as Wyatt Blaylock still leave with some collage funds.
Wyatt is a 13 year old East Central FFA member in San Antonio, who lost his
father, Anthony, to brain cancer April 16th, 2012. A devastation
of this magnitude could wreck any family, but not Wyatt’s. His family
roots run deeper than bloodline including his “Stock Show Family” pictured left
to right, his brother, Weston, Lorie Kempen, FFA Advisor, Wyatt Blaylock,
and his mom, Tara Taylor. Backing them up are the breeders Ricky Neal and
Brian Martin, Caleb Martin, Kylie Patterson and the sponsor, Del Frisco’s,
all helping to reinforcing a basic concept of setting goals, working hard
and competing still pays off in this country. That’s what makes the Sale of
Champions so special; it’s not just the money. Wyatt’s 1 of 12-10th
Place Steers earned $20,895, as Wyatt’s dream of being an Aggie gets a little
closer. The Sale of Champion Sponsors aren’t just buying Grand Champions; they
are supporting the Grand Champion Kids of Texas, like Wyatt!

The Kirkpatrick Family
Jared and Sonia Kirkpatrick are pictured with their children, Megan, Katherine & Abigail.
Jared is a University of Texas at Dallas graduate with a degree in Management and Sonia a graduate of Texas Tech University with an Accounting degree and an MBA in Global Business from University of Dallas. Jared is a National Sales Manager for Miro Industries and Sonia is the President & CEO of PediaPlex.
Jared and Sonia noticed their oldest daughter was behind developmentally when compared to her siblings. Sonia set out to find why her daughter was insensitive to pain, lacked motor-skill dexterity, was inattentive, and could not interact socially with other children. After thousands of miles traveled and countless appointments with pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists, she finally received a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome.
From this highly personal journey, Sonia developed a vision for a clinic where a child could be evaluated, diagnosed and treated by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a single location. This is how the concept was born to create PediaPlex.
